We do not believe in the baptism of infants; however, we do practice dedication as seen in 1 Samuel 1:24-28 and the dedication of Jesus in Luke 2:22-39. Dedication is a commitment of the parents to raise their child in a godly home, teaching them the truths of His Word, and offering their child to God for whatever service He might have for them. It is also a request that the body of Christ enter into the raising of their child in a godly environment as his or her teachers and/or role models. Dedications are done after a meeting between parents and pastor to discuss the reason for the parents seeking dedication of their child.
